Volunteer

This individual is responsible is responsible to setup and prepare the gym for practice(s) as well as support to coaches and families, as needed. 

This individuals primary role is assist the coach with off the court matters during practices. Think getting ice packs/bandaids,  walk with an athlete to get water, provide additional eyes and ears for needs or concerns. Also, assist coach with any special requests or events.

Make a lasting impact —be an Upward Coach! Help young athletes grow in skill, confidence, and faith while having fun and sharing the love of Christ on and off the court. Upward provides practice night plans, drills, and plays, plus game day assistance through an easy to navigate coach’s  Game Day portal.

Help bring live action game play into the homes of family members and friends that might otherwise not be able to be present to watch the games. This is a great volunteer opportunity for preteens and teenagers looking to get involved. 

If you enjoy bringing a smile to someone’s face, meeting new people, and serving the families of Upward this is a great place to make a difference.

Amazing moments happen every week throughout Upward game days. We are looking for volunteers that will capture these moments, curate the images, and share them to be posted to the New Holland Upward Basketball and Cheer league digital platforms.

This individual works with the coaching staff of a team to distribute information, communicate team needs, and setup postgame snack responsibilities.

These team members help to prepare the gym for game days and help tear down and clean the facility when games end for the day.

 This person enjoys details, organization, decorations, checklists, and using those talents to bless others.
